Dinner At Your Door, based in Portland, Oregon, cooks and delivers fresh, healthy food right to your door once a week.
What does my delivery include?
Your delivery includes one meal of 2, 4, or 6 servings prepared in re-usable glassware. You will receive a personally selected entrée, side, salad and cookies with the option to add extra frozen entrées, breakfast granola, dog treats and other seasonal offerings.
How often do you deliver meals to me?
We deliver as often as one meal per week but recommend ordering a larger portion for leftovers and lunch the next day. If you have a special circumstance where you are looking for more frequent delivery, please call!
When will my meals be delivered?
Your meal will be delivered on your selected delivery day: either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 7am-5pm. Due to the nature of the delivery radius, unless you select a custom delivery time, for a nominal fee, we cannot guarantee what time it will arrive. Your meal will be fully cooked, cold with an ice pack.
What is your delivery area?
Dinner At Your Door serves the Portland metropolitan area, including Vancouver, WA. Please enter your zip code for details on where, when and how much delivery is.
Do you prepare gluten free or vegan meals?
Yes! We can prepare all of our meals GF, Vegan or Vegetarian; however, your meal is not prepared in a kitchen free of these substances.
Where do you get your recipes?
Our recipes come from a collection of Margot's favorite cookbooks, websites and magazines. She and her team personalize the recipes by adding a twist such as more veggies, whole-wheat products, varied spices, local produce and organic options.
Where do you prepare the food?
We cook in a commissary in NW Portland that is certified by the State of Oregon and Multnomah County Health Department.
Can I give dinner at your door as a gift?
Yes! Please click here and select “purchase a gift subscription.” You can order online or call 503.701.4531. If you want to order the menu items and select the dates of delivery please click here and select “I am a new customer.” In the delivery details section please include your information as the gift giver, name, email and phone.
What if I want to cancel after the first two weeks?
If our service is just not for you, please let us know the Sunday prior to your next delivery. You will be refunded by check for any meals not delivered. Refunds are not valid for gift certificates.
I have received all the meals in my subscription how do I re-order?
You should receive an Action Required email on Thursday following your last meal. Please select the Continue Service link and proceed to the order page.
I have received all the meals in my subscription… how do I terminate service and return my dishes?
You should receive an Action Required email on Thursday following your last meal. Please select the Taking A Break link to auto-schedule you for bag/container pick up the following week on your delivery day.
I have received all the meals in my subscription and intend on ordering again in a couple weeks what do I do in the meantime?
You should receive an Action Required email on Thursday following your last meal. Please select the Continue Service link and schedule your future meals. If you are not ready to schedule yet, you will continue to receive the Thursday reminder until you are.
Where do I return my dishes?
If you still have dishes to return and you have not received the Action Required email or we failed to collect them please click here and message us with your Last Name and we will schedule you for pick up.
What can I order for kids?
We have designed a special “Small Belly” menu, $6/serving that includes kid-friendly options.
